One of the aims of Association activity is cooperation with authorities of Russian Federation on development legal, economic and social policy corresponding to professional interests of branch. That is why the Association prepared letters: «About fixing of the lowest price on Russian and Soviet Champagne for retail» - read more и «About the excise tax on alcoholic production» - read more, кwhich were sent to the State Duma of Russian Federation and Federal Service for the Regulation of the Alcohol Market. In the written request to the above-mentioned organizations, the Association asks to consider a possibility of reduction of excises on sparkling wines equating them to excises on still wines, and also points out that the minimum retail price for sparkling wines in glass containers with the capacity of 0,75 liters should not be less than 100 roubles in 2011.
